This recorded webinar will discuss the importance of providing immunization training to school staff and provide communication strategies for school staff to employ when speaking with parents. Participants will leave with resources and tools to use when training school staff. 

This training was originally presented on February 26, 2025.

Learning Outcome

At the conclusion of the educational activity, participants will self-report knowledge gain of effective strategies for discussing routine immunizations using a 4-point Likert scale.

  • Discuss the importance of providing routine immunization training to supporting staff (e.g., school office staff)
  • Describe two strategies nurses can share with supporting staff when communicating with families about routine immunizations
  • Identify available resources and tools nurses can share with supporting staff
